STM Newsletter for March 27, 2019

View this email in your browser
Dear Parents:

As we enter the third week of Lent, and prepare to celebrate the greatest feast in the Catholic Church - the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ, please take a moment to reflect on the following 2019 Lenten message from Pope Francis:

"Let us not allow this season of grace to pass in vain! Let us ask God to help us set out on a path of true conversion. Let us leave behind our selfishness and self-absorption, and turn to Jesus' Pasch. Let us stand beside our brothers and sisters in need, sharing our spiritual and material goods with them. In this way, by concretely welcoming Christ's victory over sin and death into our lives, we will also radiate its transforming power to all of creation."
PARENTS' CLUB NOMINATIONS
The Parents' Club is still seeking interested parents to take a leadership position as part of the 2019-2020 Parents' Club. We hope you will consider yourself an interested candidate, or if you know of someone else who should be considered, please write that name next to the position you feel appropriate. Your suggestions do not obligate these parents in any way, but only assist us in the selection. We will continue to accept nominations through the end of this week.
