As a part of their STEM project, our first graders worked in pairs to create 3D structures from marshmallows and spaghetti sticks.

Dear Parents:
St. Thomas More School's philosophy speaks to our mandate to present a curriculum that reflects the teachings of Christ, that provides an atmosphere and environment based on Catholic principles, that  provide opportunities for prayer and liturgical experiences and that provides a Christ-centered education where a child experiences Christian love. The following Catholic Identity survey will affirm our strengths as a Catholic school as well as provide us feedback to recognize needs or areas of improvements to best serve our students.

Please take 5 minutes to complete the Catholic Identity Survey for this year by Friday, February 14, 2020.

STM welcomes back Ms. Kate Zheng, our TK-5 Mandarin teacher! On Tuesday, our Kindergarteners engaged in conversations about the Chinese zodiac and the special Chinese New Year celebrations and customs. Kindergarteners were particularly excited to hear about all the delicious traditional New Year's dishes such as noodles that signify longevity, dumplings that represents wealth, and shimp (蝦) embodies liveliness and good fortune as seen in the photo above. This year's Lunar New Year, celebrating the rat, lands on Saturday, January 25, 2020.

Dear Parents:

The Catholic school experience is an unparalleled opportunity to develop a child's mind, heart and soul. Our Catholic faith is central to all that we do at St. Thomas More School. Gospel ideals permeate the lessons prepared by our teachers. Faith is shared through daily prayer and the regular celebration of Mass as a school community and with our families on Sundays. Catholic schools offer an excellent, nurturing, values-centered education in a structured environment. This helps children of all backgrounds realize their fullest potential as human beings.
