| | Dear Parents. As this school year comes to a close, we are dealing with many stressful and difficult situations in our country and communities. COVID-19, the economy, the heartbreaking death of George Floyd, and the subsequent violent riots that overshadowed many peaceful protests are not only difficult for us to deal with, but also our children. Our Catholic schools continue to be a vital haven, where God's love and mercy are front and center. In these difficult times, prayer is needed more than ever. Below is a prayer from Pope John Paul II for Peace. May we all lift up our voices to God, and ask God to make us all witnesses of truth, justice, and love. Please consider sharing this with your family and friends this evening. | | Pope John Paul II's Prayer for Peace Lord Jesus Christ, who are called the Prince of Peace, who are yourself our peace and reconciliation, who so often said, "Peace to you," grant us peace. Make all men and women witnesses of truth, justice, and brotherly love. Banish from their hearts whatever might endanger peace. Enlighten our rulers that they may guarantee and defend the great gift of peace. May all peoples on the earth become as brothers and sisters. May longed for peace blossom forth and reign always over us all. - Pope John Paul II | | | Earlier today, London Breed's office sent out the attached message regarding the curfew in San Francisco and asked for our help in getting the message out to our community.
