Parent Sign-Up Genius goes live tonight at 7:00 p.m. * * *  Sunday, April 28, 2024 marks the 40th day of the passing of Msgr. Labib Kobe, who was the pastor at St. John of God Church, San Francisco from 1999-2002 and at St. Thomas More Parish from 2002 – 2015 until he retired.  There will be a mass at 12 noon on Sunday, April 28, 2024. Monsignor Kobti was a spiritual leader to the Arab American Catholic community. He will be greatly missed by friends and parishioners alike. * * *  Let us please continue to pray for peace and healing.  May our words and actions bring about a more just and peaceful world.        Thank you for your support! He was born in Beirut, Lebanon on August 31, 1950. Loving son of the late Fawzi and Veriginie Kobti; loving brother of Emil Cobti and the late Elie Kobti. Survived by loving nieces and nephews. Monsignor Kobti was ordained a priest on June 7, 1975. He was a priest with the Patriarca of Jerusalem and in residence in the Archdiocese of San Francisco at St. Anne's of the Sunset from 1993-1999. Fr. Labib was pastor at St. John of God Church, San Francisco from 1999-2002 and at St. Thomas More Parish from 2002 – 2015 until he retired. Monsignor Kobti was a spiritual leader to the Arab American Catholic community. He will be greatly missed by friends and parishioners alike.
