KINDERGARTEN and TK APPLICATIONS 2022-2023 We are happy to announce that many new families have accepted a placement at STM for the next school year. Applications are still being accepted until classes are full. Email office@stmsf.org or call us at 415-337-0100 if you have any questions.  TRUNK OR TREAT HALLOWEEN PARADE  FRIDAY, OCTOBER 29, 2021 Our TK-8 Halloween parade will begin at 10:00 am in the schoolyard on Friday, October 29, 2021. For the safety of our students and staff, parents and guardians are not be allowed in the schoolyard during this event. Parents' Club Volunteers will be distributing treats to our students in the schoolyard. You may stream the event on Instagram Live @stmsfbroncos beginning at 10:00 am.  HALLOWEEN COSTUMES When purchasing costumes for wearing to school for the parade, please consider the following:   Age appropriate Bathroom accessible Makeup must be applied at home Shoes must be comfortable for walking No weapons of any kind Also remember that Friday, October 29th is a minimum day with a 12:15/12:30 pm dismissal. ABSENTEE REPORT If your child is absent, please use the absentee report to notify the school office and teachers that your child will be absent. You may find the link to the absentee report on our school website under CONTACT US -> Report Student Absence or use the link below.  Vacations taken during the school year are not encouraged. Please defer vacations to school holidays and days when we are not in-session. LINK: Absentee Report If your child is out sick, please follow the SFDPH Parent/Guardian Health Checklist below. LINK: SFDPH Parent/Guardian Health Checklist Students may return after illness:  If your child gets tested for COVID-19, they can return if their test is negative. A home COVID test is not sufficient. A PCR test is required. They must stay at home until you get their test result. Email test results to health@stmsf.org. If your child is not tested, they must stay out of school until 10 days have passed since their symptoms first appeared AND 24 hours with no fever and no symptom reducing medications. All conferences will be virtual this year. During your conference, the teacher will also share the results of the STAR baseline test taken in early September.  An email invitation was sent to the primary email address listed on your FACTS account on Monday, Oct 4th via SignUpGenius. Sign-ups close on Friday, October 8, 2021. Please contact your child's homeroom teacher if you have any questions about conferences.  Sign Up Dates: Monday, Oct. 4 at 5 pm - Friday, Oct. 8 at 11:59 pm Parent-Teacher Conference Dates: Tuesday, Oct. 12-Thursday, Oct. 14 POWERSCHOOL PARENT PORTAL Powerschool Parent Portal is available for Grades 5-8. Please check our Powerschool website for more information. Parent portal access codes were sent home to all fifth graders and new students. Email Mrs. Wong at stmtech@stmsf.org if you have any questions or would like to request your Parent Portal Access Codes. Our STM third and seventh graders will be participating in their Fun Run this Friday, October 8. Our special MC for the event will be our newly elected Sports Commissioner, seventh grader, Cyrhen. The Fun Run Portal will be open until the end of next week to accept additional donations for all grade levels.
