| | Dear Friends, Thank you to all who joined us for our Family Mass this past Sunday. The Student Council, along with their moderators, Mrs. Shelley White and Mrs. Melody Dicks, prepared a lovely service. Thank you also to our wonderful choir for gracing us with their beautiful voices. It was a great opportunity to commission and bless our Student Council members. Father Marvin also took this opportunity to welcome all our students and families back for the new school year and to bless our teachers for the wonderful work they do in the classroom each and everyday. Teachers do make a difference! Please consider joining us for our next Family Mass on October 15 with Archbishop Cordileone. | | | On October 7, 2017, Archbishop Cordileone will consecrate the Archdiocese of San Francisco to the Immaculate Heart of Mary. All events will take place at the Cathedral of St. Mary of the Assumption. We encourage all families to consider participating in this special consecration. Please click here for more details on the schedule of events. If you and your family plan to participate, the Archdiocese has asked that students who attend Catholic schools to please wear their uniforms to represent their school. A BIG Thank you for your generous response to the bake sale last week. The Student Council is happy to report that they raised $377.60 for those effected by Hurricane Harvey. These funds will be forwarded on to Catholic Charities for disbursement. It was great to hear that many of our new families were able to get together and meet one another as well as Parents' Club reps last Friday night during the New Parent Social. Thanks to Mia Beasley and Jeanelle Arquiza (Parents' Club Co-Presidents) for organizing this event. Thank you also to Christine Jordan and Lally Tan for organizing a fantastic BINGO night last Saturday. There were 83 people in attendance and much fun was had by all. | | This week is I Week. We are Involved Citizens who participate in humanitarian and environmental service projects and are conscious of current events both locally and globally and their effect on the world. This week's question was: What do you think the school's response could be to the Hurricane Harvey disaster? 5th grade will share the rest of their answers during morning assembly. | | | FUN RUN: What a fantastic start to our Fun Run Fundraiser!
