| | Dear Friends, As we move towards the holiday season, we want our students to continue to peacemakers by participating in our annual collection of peanut butter. Our collection this year will benefit the St. Vincent de Paul Society. The St. Vincent de Paul Society has requested peanut butter, as it is a much-needed nutritious staple for them throughout the holiday season. This year, our collection, which starts today, November 8, will run over the next four weeks. Please send a jar (or two!), any kind, any size with your child by Friday, December 8. | | | Last years' first graders with the peanut butter collection. | | At this time of year, those less fortunate often need to rely on our kindness of others. Over the next few months, in association with the School Advisory Board, there will be several collections for those in need. The first of these collections is the peanut butter drive which kicks off today. When we return from Thanksgiving break, we will begin our toy drive and following that, in the new year, our warm coat drive. While we understand that asking you to contribute to all of these collections may prove challenging, we hope you will be able to donate to at least one or two. | | WE NEED YOUR HELP! All STM parents and guardians are invited to participate in a survey for the WCEA school accreditation process. It will be electronically collated and the results will be incorporated into our next WCEA study. Please complete this survey by Friday, November 10. | | | DISCOVERY DAY AT AT&T PARK The 7th annual Discovery Day at AT&T Park is Saturday 11/11/17.
