As a part of their STEM project, our first graders worked in pairs to create 3D structures from marshmallows and spaghetti sticks. |

Dear Parents:
St. Thomas More School's philosophy speaks to our mandate to present a curriculum that reflects the teachings of Christ, that provides an atmosphere and environment based on Catholic principles, that provide opportunities for prayer and liturgical experiences and that provides a Christ-centered education where a child experiences Christian love. The following Catholic Identity survey will affirm our strengths as a Catholic school as well as provide us feedback to recognize needs or areas of improvements to best serve our students.
Please take 5 minutes to complete the Catholic Identity Survey for this year by Friday, February 14, 2020.

Please mark your calendars for our Annual Cioppino Dinner and Silent Auction on Saturday, February 22, 2020. The evening includes appetizers, antipasto, salad, garlic bread, cioppino (or chicken if you prefer), dessert, balloon prizes and a fabulous auction. This is our biggest fundraiser of the year and is always a sell out event.
|
|
|
This year, the Cioppino Committee is also holding a 50/50 raffle. All students will be receiving a book of tickets in today's envelope. If every family sold just one book of tickets that would bring the first prize to about $2,500! Check out their flyer for more information. |

CURRENT TOTAL: 61
Winter is here and there are many families in our community who are in need of a warm winter coat. Between January 17-February 5, St. Thomas More School will be collecting clean, new or gently used coats in conjunction with ONE WARM COAT. Your donations will benefit many local charities in the area which are in desperate need of coats. Please help us keep everyone warm this winter. Thank you in advance for your generosity. Kindly bring coats to the STM School Office. |

STM TAP
This year we have a limited amount of funds available for STM TAP (Tuition Assistance Program). Funds will be distributed on the basis of those families who need the most help. To qualify for temporary tuition assistance, families will need to show proof of financial hardship and funds will be distributed on a discretionary basis by the school administration. Please email Mrs. Fitzpatrick at marifitz@stmsf.org by Friday, January 31st, if you are interested in receiving an application form.
