| | | OUTDOOR MASKING UPDATES Many students celebrated today also because they were able to play with masks off. Hopefully, this is the first step along the journey to returning to life as we knew it before Covid. | | | ACCEPTING APPLICATIONS Please continue to share the good news about STM with family and friends. Word of mouth is the most effective way to attract new families to our school. Use your social media account, and our school accounts to spread information. We have registered a lot of new students for next school year already, but we still have spaces available, especially in the middle grades. Online applications are available on our website, www.stmsf.org. | | | FIRST RECONCILIATION Our 2nd grade students, along with a few students from other grades, will be celebrating the next step on their journey as Catholics, by receiving the Sacrament of Reconciliation next Wednesday, February 23rd. Please keep them in your thoughts and prayers. | | | FEBRUARY ~ BLACK HISTORY MONTH Every February, the U.S. honors the contributions and sacrifices of African Americans who have helped shape the nation. Black History Month celebrates the rich cultural heritage, triumphs and adversities that are an indelible part of our country's history. | | However, we should keep in mind what Barack Obama, who served as the 44th President of the United States stated, "Black History Month shouldn't be treated as though it is somehow separate from our collective American history… "It's about the lived, shared experience of all African Americans, high and low, famous and obscure, and how those experiences have shaped and challenged and ultimately strengthened America." | | | VIRTUAL BINGO NIGHT Saturday, February 26, 2022 5:00-6:30 pm Buy your Virtual Bingo Tickets Now | | | | | NOTHING BUNDT CAKE FUNDRAISER Orders may be placed from February 28-March 4, 2022 | | SAVE THE DATE 30TH ANNUAL CIOPPINO DINNER Saturday, March 26, 2022 Join us for a special evening of food, drinks and music and see why this event is a sell-out every year! | | | COVID NOTIFICATIONS There were no COVID general notifications for this week. | | | Blessings, Marie Fitzpatrick Principal | | | | | | |
