View this email in your browser March 18, 2022 Dear Families, What a spectacular day we had for the Spring Festival! A special thank you to the chairs of the event, Jasmin Viloria and Princess Costello whose many months of careful planning ensured a wonderful event for our families. The weather was perfect, there were many delicious food and drink offerings, and it was a treat to see our children and families having such fun together.  We are so grateful to the following contributors who added to the success of the day.  Class Booth Chairs/Co-Chairs Bronco Bites Kitchen  STM Bar ~ A Taste of Dublin Photographer DJ Security Team Food Vendors Parent Volunteers  PC Treasurers SPRING FESTIVAL PHOTOS Many thanks to our seventh grade parent, HJ Park, for sharing his brilliant Spring Festival photos with us.  LINK: Spring Festival Photo Album St. Thomas More School's Strategic Plan 22-23 got off to a great start on Monday with a retreat of almost 40 parents and staff. This year's long planning will continue through next school year. Kerry Engler, the consultant hired to lead us through this process, led us through a lively meeting and set out the plan for the next 12 months. Our special guest for the evening, David Greenbaum, our incoming principal, had an opportunity to meet some of our school families and learn a little about the history of our wonderful school.In the Fall there will be several opportunities for all school parents, staff and students to contribute to the success of this endeavor.   Below are the updates for this week:  Calendar TK and Grade 2 Academy of Sciences Field Trip Parents' Club Nomination Catholic Identity Survey Academic Chess Summer Information Uniform Information COVID Notifications and Updates CALENDAR Thursday, May 19 Grades 4-6 Linda Mar Beach Field Trip Monday, May 23 Minimum Day 12:15/12:30 dismissal Tuesday, May 24 Grade 8 visits Alma Via Friday, May 27 Field Day ~ Free dress for outside sporty activities Monday, May 30 Memorial Day - School Holiday Friday, June 3 8th Grade Graduation Sunday, June 5 Principal Retirement Mass, 10am Hospitality in the gym following the Mass June 7-9 Minimum Days 12:15/12:30 dismissal Friday, June 10 Last day of school - 10:00 am dismissal 2022-2023 School Calendar TK and Grade 2 Academy of Sciences Field Trip PARENTS' CLUB NOMINATIONS The Parents' Club is seeking interested parents to take a leadership position as part of the 2022-2023 Parents' Club. We hope you will consider yourself an interested candidate, or if you know of someone else who should be considered, please write that name next to the position you feel appropriate. Your suggestions do not obligate these parents in any way, but only assist us in the selection.
