Please check out SF's safety health reminders.   Priority registration for kindergarten is now open.  To ensure a spot for our 2024-2025 Fall kindergarten class – all incoming STM siblings, TK and Utopia families are encouraged to submit their registration as soon as possible. Thank you for being a part of our strong, kind and compassionate community.    * * * STM is proud to announce our 2024 Spring Musical, The Lion King     The Lion King will come roaring into STM in May of 2024! Hakuna Matata!  * * * 4th grade field trip to SF MOMA  Special thanks to Ms. Verzosa and all the chaperones!   * * * Next Monday, January 15, 2023 is MLK Day and we honor the work, life and legacy of Martin Luther King Junior.   Common Sense Media Recommendations for MLK St. Thomas More School proudly celebrates our diversity and multicultural  heritage and that helps make us a strong community of love, acceptance,  tolerance and faith. David Greenbaum (Mr. G.), Principal   Below are the updates for this week:  Calendar STM Presents The Lion King - Info Utopia Preschool Applications Open January-February Yard Duty Sign Up Grandparent's Day - Info Yearbook Order Cioppino 2024 Save the Date Bronco Merch STM Celebrating 70 Years & Our Mission Health and Safety Notification CALENDAR 2023-2024 School Calendar Thursday, January 11 Parents' Club Meeting - 7pm virtual Friday, January 12 The Lion King - Auditions for Grades 4-8 Preschool-3 will be in the Ensemble/Chorus Monday, January 15  Martin Luther King Jr. Day  No School Monday, January 22  Minimum Day  January 28-February 3  Catholic Schools Week  Friday, February 2  Grandparent's Day  Minimum Day  Utopia Preschool is now accepting applications for the 2024-2025 school year! The first round of acceptance letters will be distributed in January. Schedule a tour by calling (415) 317-6269 or email our Director, Stephanie at svorrises@stmsf.org. Current STM families are given priority enrollment! January-February Yard Duty Sign Up Parents – Please review the STM Yard Duty - Volunteer Guidelines                                            STM Volunteer Guidelines - Please make sure that you are monitoring all the children in your area or zones and not just your own child/children. - No pictures of the students are permitted during recess or lunch duty.   - All phones are to be put away and only used in case of an emergency.   - Kindly encourage the students to clean up after themselves and their community. - Please talk with the faculty member on duty if you have any questions. - Each day is 1.5 hours for parent hours.  - Please only sign up for a maximum of 4 days. This way we have more opportunities for more parents.  - Please note - the maximum service hours a family can receive for Yard Duty is 6 hours per school year. Sign up here!
