As we begin 2024, I want to thank you for continuing to keep our community healthy and safe. Please check out safety health reminders. St. Thomas More was founded in 1954. We are proud to be celebrating 70 years of success. Thank you for being a part of our strong, kind and compassionate community. Here are a few notes of appreciation from 2023 as we welcome 2024 – Thank you to all the families for the generosity and support given to the faculty and staff during the holiday season. Thank you for supporting our community partners. Tomorrow (Thursday, 1/4/24) is the final day for our canned food and warm coat drive. Thank you all for celebrating our 2023 Christmas Concert – Peace on Earth!  It was so wonderful to bring the Bronco community together!   Thank you, Mr. Schnur and Coach Trevor for an awesome Winter Physical Education Camp!   Thank you to our amazing students and their families for all the love and kindness they continue to share.   Thank you to our teachers and staff for all the dedication and care. Please be safe as possible on the roads. Thank you all for your patience. As we count our blessings and begin a new year, let us please continue to pray for peace. David Greenbaum (Mr. G.), Principal Below are the updates for this week:  Calendar Utopia Preschool Applications Open January-February Yard Duty Sign Up STM Winter Service Project Outdoor Education Fundraiser Yearbook Order Cioppino 2024 Save the Date Bronco Merch STM Celebrating 70 Years & Our Mission Health and Safety Notification CALENDAR 2023-2024 School Calendar Thursday, January 4 LAST DAY for canned food / warm coat drive Thursday, January 11 Parents' Club Meeting - 7pm virtual Monday, January 15  Martin Luther King Jr. Day  No School Monday, January 22  Minimum Day  January 28-February 3  Catholic Schools Week  Friday, February 2  Grandparent's Day  Minimum Day  Utopia Preschool is now accepting applications for the 2024-2025 school year! The first round of acceptance letters will be distributed in January. Schedule a tour by calling (415) 317-6269 or email our Director, Stephanie at svorrises@stmsf.org. Current STM families are given priority enrollment! January-February Yard Duty Sign Up Parents – Please review the STM Yard Duty - Volunteer Guidelines                                            STM Volunteer Guidelines - Please make sure that you are monitoring all the children in your area or zones and not just your own child/children. - No pictures of the students are permitted during recess or lunch duty.   - All phones are to be put away and only used in case of an emergency.   - Kindly encourage the students to clean up after themselves and their community. - Please talk with the faculty member on duty if you have any questions. - Each day is 1.5 hours for parent hours.  - Please only sign up for a maximum of 4 days. This way we have more opportunities for more parents.  - Please note - the maximum service hours a family can receive for Yard Duty is 6 hours per school year. Sign up here!
