Hello STM Broncos! Happy Wednesday!
It was wonderful to see all the families at Back to School Night 2024! As we are now at the end of August and have been in school for a few weeks, I would like to acknowledge the entire STM community and express my appreciation. Thank you to all the students for doing your best and demonstrating kindness throughout the day. Thank you to the families for all the support you show at school and at home. AFTERNOON DISMISSAL - TK-8 will be dismissed at the gate.

Please keep children at home if they are ill or showing any symptoms that may be related to COVID-19. MORNING DROP-OFF - The schoolyard gate will open at 7:45 a.m.
- TK-8 students may be dropped off between 7:45-8:10 a.m. in the morning.
- Please drop students off in the white zone. Pull forward and drive around the block or park up on top of the hill in front of the church.
- NO Double Parking for the safety of our community and the Alma Via residents.
- NO Red Zone Parking
- DPT will ticket
- Please drop students off in the white zone. Pull forward. Keep it moving! Keep it grooving!
- Drivers and family members, please stay in your vehicle.
- For our younger students, please practice exiting the vehicle. STM staff members will be on traffic duty to supervise and help with morning drop-off.
- If you must exit your vehicle, please find a parking space across the church or in the neighborhood and walk your child to school.
- NO U-TURNS
- Please do not gather in front of the gate for extended periods during peak drop-off/pick up times.
MORNING ASSEMBLY
Students will stay in the schoolyard for morning assembly. Parents, family members, and other adults are not allowed in the schoolyard as we continue to limit visitors to our campus.
TARDY STUDENTS Students arriving after morning assembly will enter through the front office doors for check-in and receive a tardy pass to give to their teacher. | | | MORNING & AFTERNOON, EXTENDED CARE, AND LUNCH PROGRAMS - Morning Care will be available from 7:00 - 8:00 a.m. beginning Friday, August 16, 2024.
- Extended Care will be available until 6:00 p.m. daily beginning Friday, August 16, 2024.
- Hot Lunch by School Foodies begins on Monday, August 19, 2024. There may be a limited number of lunches for $7 each, on an emergency basis only. Emergency lunches will be billed to FACTS accounts.

STM has a hot lunch vendor, SchoolFoodies, for the 2024-2025 school year. Please refer to the registration Information below for more information on how to set up your child's hot lunch account. - Sign-Up Genius for Bingo Night Volunteers will be emailed out on Wednesday, 8/28 around 7 p.m.

School Year 2024-2025
We need Robotics Club coaches! First Lego League requires two coaches per team of up to 6-10 students. Note that we cannot form teams without coaches, but no experience is required, and coaching robotics is a blast! - Coaches must be fingerprinted (Live Scan) and complete the Virtus training prior to the first club meeting date.
- Robotics Coach Volunteers will be given 15 Parent Participation Hours. Team Meeting Dates: The season will run from week of mid September through mid December for a 10-week session.
Club meeting starts right after school for (1st-8th). Please check school calendar for Minimum Days/Holidays. For more information/to volunteer, please contact Jenny Polovina: jennyjustis5@hotmail.com.

BASEMENTEER PROGRAM 2024
Hello Saint Thomas More School!
As you know, Saint Thomas More School is a beneficiary of Sports Basement's Basementeer program. As a beneficiary, Saint Thomas More School earns money when your community shops at Sports Basement. Sports Basement is scheduling Back to School shopping events from August 31 to September 8, and wants to make sure that St. Thomas More School is included. This would be a 20% discount for Basementeers (those a part of our loyalty program) and 11% for everyone else. Sports Basement's Back To School shopping event is also a great program wherein 10% of profits are shared with Saint Thomas More School. Sharing of the 20% off Back-To-School coupon is also a good time to support Saint Thomas More School community. Sports Basement donates 10% of profits to our Basementeer Beneficiaries.
