The Faculty and Staff are ready and excited to meet their new classroom families this school year during Back to School Night 2024!  Back to School Night is tonight, August 21, from 6:00-7:30 p.m.  Evening Extended Care is available.  Pre-register for evening extended care is now closed but you can walk-in for $20 per child.   Below you will find our Back to School Night schedule (blue box). * * * STM CELEBRATES 2024 FILIPINO HERITAGE NIGHT WITH THE SAN FRANCISCO GIANTS STM COMMUNITY, FAMILY & FRIENDS  Thank you for helping to keep our community safe during drop-off and pickup times. This is a mandatory meeting for all families. We will have a raffle for $100 off tuition for five STM families who arrive on time! Please pick up your raffle ticket at the teachers' tables. One ticket per child.  SCHEDULE Gates Open/Schoolyard Parking: 5:30 p.m. Check-In: 5:30-6:00 p.m. in the Gym Raffle: 6:00 p.m. Introductions: 6:00-6:20 p.m. Classroom Sessions Session 1: 6:30-6:55 p.m. Session 2: 7:00-7:25 pm ATTENDANCE At least one parent from each family is required to attend. Per the Parent Tuition Agreement Parent Participation Requirements, families without a representative in attendance will be assessed a $50 fee for a missed meeting. Please email your child's teacher if you are unable to attend.  PARKING Parking will be difficult, please plan to arrive on time. Limited parking will be available in the schoolyard so consider carpooling or parking on Brotherhood Way or in Park Merced. EXTENDED CARE While it would be ideal if children could stay at home, we understand this is not always possible. Childcare for STM students will be available in Carroll Hall at $10 for pre-registered families or $20 for walk-ins.  2024-2025 SCHOOL YEAR INFORMATION School days for all students TK-8 will begin at 8:10 a.m. promptly. First day of school for TK-8 is Thursday, August 15, 2024 and is a minimum day.   2024-2025 Calendar  2024-2025 Financial Policies  TK-8th Supply List 2024-2025 3rd-8th Summer Reading List 2024-2025 SCHOOL SCHEDULE MORNING DROP-OFF 7:45-8:10 am: All TK-8 students  8:10 am: Morning assembly in the schoolyard AFTERNOON DISMISSAL - TK-8 will be dismissed at the gate.    TK-3 Grades 4-8 Monday-Thursday  2:45 pm 3:00 pm  Friday 2:15 pm 2:30 pm  Minimum Day 12:15 pm 12:30 pm MORNING DROP-OFF Before you leave for school, please do a quick health check with your child at home. Please keep children at home if they are ill or showing any symptoms that may be related to COVID-19.  MORNING DROP-OFF The schoolyard gate will open at 7:45 a.m.  TK-8 students may be dropped off between 7:45-8:10 a.m. in the morning.  Please drop students off in the white zone. Pull forward and drive around the block or park up on top of the hill in front of the church.  NO Double Parking for the safety of our community and the Alma Via residents. NO Red Zone Parking DPT will ticket Please drop students off in the white zone. Pull forward.  Keep it moving! Keep it grooving! Drivers and family members, please stay in your vehicle.  For our younger students, please practice exiting the vehicle. STM staff members will be on traffic duty to supervise and help with morning drop-off.  If you must exit your vehicle, please find a parking space across the church or in the neighborhood and walk your child to school.  NO U-TURNS Please do not gather in front of the gate for extended periods during peak drop-off/pick up times. MORNING ASSEMBLY Students will stay in the schoolyard for morning assembly. Parents, family members, and other adults are not allowed in the schoolyard as we continue to limit visitors to our campus. TARDY STUDENTS Students arriving after morning assembly will enter through the front office doors for check-in and receive a tardy pass to give to their teacher. MORNING & AFTERNOON, EXTENDED CARE, AND LUNCH PROGRAMS Morning Care will be available from 7:00 - 8:00 a.m. beginning Friday, August 16, 2024. Extended Care will be available until 6:00 p.m. daily beginning Friday, August 16, 2024. Hot Lunch by School Foodies begins on Monday, August 19, 2024.  There may be a limited number of lunches for $7 each, on an emergency basis only. Emergency lunches will be billed to FACTS accounts. HOT LUNCH REGISTRATION STM has a hot lunch vendor, SchoolFoodies, for the 2024-2025 school year. Please refer to the registration Information below for more information on how to set up your child's hot lunch account.  Registration Code is SF-STM LINK: School Foodies Flyer  ACADEMIC CHESS 2024 - After School Enrichment Class  Academic Chess will begin after school Wednesday, September 18, 2024 from 3:05-4:05 p.m. and will run for 8 weeks.
