View this email in your browser September 18, 2024 Thank you to everyone for your continued support of the 2024 STM Fun Run which takes place this Friday, September 20, 2024!  Thank you for encouraging health, wellness, fitness and supporting our community!  Please plan on sending students in their physical education uniform this Friday.  Why do we need to fundraise? Tuition and fees only cover a portion of the cost to educate our students. Through a variety of fundraising efforts - including Fun Run, Cioppino, Aloha Festival, etc. - we work together to raise essential funds for our community.  Funds raised through these events and activities help support and offset annual operating expenses. Thank you to the families, alumni, friends and neighbors who generously support STM each year. * * * STM 2024 Faith Families started this week! Great job organizing and leading 8th grade students!  Special thanks to Mrs. Cabe-Reyes! * * * This Saturday, 9/21/24, at 10:30 a.m., a memorial service will be held in the school parking lot for Aran King, Mr. K.'s wife, who passed away several months ago. This service is being held outdoors so Aran's dog  friends and community from Fort Funston can attend. Casual dress is recommended. A brief reception with light refreshments will follow. All are welcome to join. * * * This Sunday, September 22, at 10:00 a.m., our fourth grade class will be hosting the Family Mass at Saint Thomas More Church.  All are welcome!   * * * Be sure to get your STM Family Bingo & Dinner Tickets - Fun for Everyone! Discounted Early Bird Tickets available until Friday.  Walk up tickets also available on Saturday, September 21, day of event.  Location: Carroll Hall starting @ 4:30. * * * September 15 – October 15 is Latino and National Hispanic Heritage Month. All are welcome to join.   PARENT-TEACHER CONFERENCES September 30-October 3, Monday-Thursday Minimum Days 12:15/12:30 p.m. Dismissal Parent conferences are an opportunity to discuss the achievements of your child with their teacher, as well as how best to support their continued academic, social and emotional growth and development. social and emotional development. During your conference, the teacher will also share the results of the STAR baseline test taken in early September. All conferences will be on Zoom.  An email invitation will be sent to the primary email address on September 18, 2024 at 5:00 p.m. via SignUp.
