Celebrating Mass on May 20 in St. Peter's Basilica, on the feast of Pentecost, the Pope said the Bible makes it clear that the Holy Spirit brings a real power to change to individuals and the church.

Come Holy Spirit, fill the hearts of your faithful
and kindle in them the fire of your love.
Send forth your Spirit and they shall be created.
And You shall renew the face of the earth.
Dear Parents,

Our 8th grade graduates completed their last service project today by serving lunch to the Glide Memorial community. We are saying good-bye to a fine class of eighth grade students. They have earned awards and recognition for their academic achievements from several of the high schools at which they have been accepted! The student body will come together for the graduates' last Mass as STM students this Friday at 11:00am. The graduation ceremony will be at 5:00pm. that evening. At those events, students will pray together, share their thoughts about their time at STM, hear the announcements of awards, and celebrate this educational milestone in their lives. We salute our graduates and hope you will join them at either or both ceremonies.
MASTER'S PROGRAM
To meet the needs of our accelerated learners we piloted the Master's Program in first through fourth grade this year. Students successfully managed the extra challenges provided and showed improvement in their overall scores in the area of reading and writing. Based on our experience this year, we plan to make some modifications to the program as well as expand the program to include fifth grade students. Thank you to the many parents who have provided input that will help us plan for the future success of all our students.

Your involvement allows St. Thomas More School to be a wonderful place for your children to grow and develop. A special thank you also to those who have donated paper, envelopes, used cartridges, and books for our library. Together we make a big difference in the lives of our children.
