Below are the updates for this week: Calendar Parent Teacher Conferences New school email for COVID  MugsyClicks Student Council Elections TK and Kindergarten 2022-2023 Applications Meet the Principal FUN RUN Shop With Scrip Maintenance Fee Halloween Spooktacular/Fall Festival Postponed CALENDAR Wednesday, Sep 29 Student Council Speeches & Elections Friday, Oct 1 Student Holiday - Teacher In-service Day Thursday, Oct 7 Parents' Club Meeting 7 pm (Virtual) Monday, Oct 11 Columbus Day - School Holiday Tuesday, Oct 12 - Thursday, Oct 14 Parent Teacher Conferences Minimum Day 12:15/12:30 pm dismissal Friday, Oct. 15 Minimum Day 12:15/12:30 dismissal PARENT-TEACHER CONFERENCES October 12-15, 2021 Parent conferences are an opportunity to discuss the achievements of your child with their teacher, as well as how best to support their continued growth, academically, and in the areas of social and emotional development. All conferences will be virtual this year. During your conference, the teacher will also share the results of the STAR baseline test taken in early September.  An email invitation will be sent to the primary email address listed on your FACTS account on Monday, Oct 4th via SignUpGenius. Sign-ups will begin next Monday at 5 pm. Sign-ups close on Friday, October 8, 2021. Please contact your child's homeroom teacher if you have any questions about conferences.  Sign Up Dates: Monday, Oct. 4 at 5 pm - Friday, Oct. 8 at 11:59 pm  Parent-Teacher Conference Dates: Tuesday, Oct. 12-Thursday, Oct. 14 NEW SCHOOL HEALTH EMAIL ADDRESS Health@stmsf.org is our new school email account that was set up to help the school office prioritize your emails regarding your child's health. Report COVID test results and questions to health@stmsf.org or call our school office at 415-337-0100. MugsyClicks will send families an email once they have your child's photo from picture day ready. Viewing and ordering will be available approximately 3 weeks after picture day.  Make Up Picture Day is scheduled for Monday, November 1, 2021.  STUDENT COUNCIL ELECTIONS Student Council Elections were held today! Election results and our new 2021-2022 officers will be announced in next week's newsletter.  KINDERGARTEN and TK APPLICATIONS 2022-2023 We are happy to announce that many new families have accepted a placement at STM for the next school year. Applications are still being accepted until classes are full. New student applications are available online. LINK: NEW STUDENT APPLICATION     VIRTUAL MEET THE PRINCIPAL We ask your help in encouraging prospective parents to consider St. Thomas More School for their child for the 2022-2023 school year. You, our current families, are our best advertising! Please invite friends and relatives interested in St.Thomas More School to come to one of our virtual "MEET THE PRINCIPAL" events for prospective parents. HALLOWEEN SPOOKTACULAR/FALL FESTIVAL Thank you, STM families, for responding to the Parents' Club Fall/Winter Survey! Based on parent feedback, the Fall Festival has been postponed to Spring 2022!
