I am so grateful to the administrative team of Mrs. Wong and Ms. Kane for keeping everything running smoothly in my absence.  Coming up in a few days we have some important secular and church holidays to celebrate: Halloween, Oct 31, 2021 All Saint's Day, Nov 1, 2021 All Soul's Day, Nov 2, 2021 The following video gives a quick update of the differences between each of these celebrations and traditions associated with them from different parts of the world. All Saints' Day Video from the Catholic Online YouTube Channel Below are the updates for this week: Calendar Trunk or Treat - Halloween Parade Picture Make Up/Retake Day  Parents' Club Meeting  FUN RUN Total Raised TK and Kindergarten 2022-2023 Applications for STM Siblings School Tours and Meet the Principal Town Hall on COVID-19 Vaccines for Children Ages 5-11 Breast Cancer Free Dress Fundraiser Total Raised CALENDAR Thursday, Oct. 28 Chef It Up 2 Go, Cooking Class, in STM Kitchen 3pm Friday, Oct. 29 Trunk or Treat Halloween Parade begins at 10 am Minimum Days 12:15/12:30 dismissal Monday, Nov. 1 School Picture Makeup Day Mock Trial 3:15-4:45 pm in Grade 8 classroom Thursday, Nov. 4 Parents' Club Meeting, 7 pm (Virtual) Nov. 1-12, Q2 STAR Testing TRUNK OR TREAT    Our TK-8 Halloween parade will begin at 10:00 am in the schoolyard on Friday, October 29, 2021. Parents' Club Volunteers will be distributing treats to our students in the schoolyard. You may stream the event on Instagram Live @stmsfbroncos beginning at 10:00 am.  For the safety of our students and staff, parents and guardians are not allowed in the schoolyard nor the classrooms and school building during this event.  When purchasing costumes for wearing to school for the parade, please consider the following:   Age appropriate Bathroom accessible Makeup must be applied at home Shoes must be comfortable for walking No weapons of any kind Also remember that Friday, October 29th is a minimum day with a 12:15/12:30pm dismissal. PHOTO MAKE UP DAY  Monday, November 1, 2021 Photo Reshoots:  Parents have the ability to sign up for retakes up to 48 hours prior to Make Up Day. There is a reshoot fee for families that want a second attempt at photos. You can make the payment when you register online from your photo account on the website. (www.mugsyclicks.com)  To request your MugsyClicks Access Code, email stmtech@stmsf.org with your child's name and grade. STM MAD HATTER PARENTS' CLUB MEETING Thursday, November 4, 2021 at 7 pm  Email parentsclub@stthomasmoreschool.org if you have any questions.  FUN RUN FUNDRAISER Final Total $ 67,829  What an amazing job our students have done in raising funds for our Tech Program. We will be using the funds to upgrade the classroom iPads and faculty laptops. SIBLING APPLICATIONS K and TK  2022-2023 Do you have a younger child at home who is ready for Kindergarten or Transitional Kindergarten for next school year? Priority is given to siblings of current students but you do need to complete the online application to ensure a spot is saved for your child. Screenings will be Saturday, January 8, 2022. You will be contacted in December to sign up for an individual testing time. Your child's screening results will be sent to you on Friday, January 14, 2022. Registration Fee (non-refundable) will be due by Friday, January 28, 2022. Thank you, STM students and families, for supporting Student Council's Breast Cancer Awareness Fundraiser. A total of $702 was raised! All proceeds are to be donated to Breast Cancer Research Foundation. Thanks for your continued adherence to our safety procedures and protocols as we work together to keep our children and families safe.
