| | STM eighth graders making decorations for the Irish Immigration Pastoral Center's St. Patrick's Day parade float. | | | March 9, 2022 Dear Families, We continue to pray for the people of Ukraine and the unspeakable hardships they face on a daily basis as their country is attacked by the government of Russia. The images of fathers facing separation from their children, buildings with people in them being bombed, and elderly citizens forced to flee their homes are heartbreaking. Let's also keep in mind the people of Russia who are also victims of the unjust and senseless attacks by their government. The invasion by Russian forces has damaged and destroyed homes, schools, places of work and orphanages. Close to a million people have fled Ukraine to neighboring countries. For those that have stayed, many are living in damaged houses, buildings and communities, often without electricity, food and water and without income to pay for basic necessities. Please encourage donations to our fundraisers next week and work to teach our children that it is all our collective responsibility to care for others. Below are the updates for this week: - Calendar
